In der Zeit von 2005 bis 2012 war ich lizenzierter Elo® Züchter der Elo® Zucht- und Forschungsgemeinschaft und habe Elo® Welpen gezüchtet. Mein A-Wurf Elo® Welpen wurde im Jahr 2005 geboren und mein J-Wurf Elo® Welpen wurde im Jahr 2012 geboren. Am 23.03.2013 habe ich mich dazu entschlossen, aus dem Elo® Zuchtverein auszutreten und bin kurz danach Mitglied der Rassehund Canilo Gruppe im ARCD e.V. geworden, in der ich mit meinen Elo® Zuchthündinnen nun Welpen unter der Bezeichnung Canilo züchte. (Aus Markenschutzgründen dürfen die Welpen nicht als Elo® Welpen bezeichnet werden).

Nach einer Pause von 1 Stunde kam um 10:52 Uhr mit einem Geburtsgewicht von 301 gr. unser Snoopy auf die Welt.
Snoopy hat seinen Namen in Anlehnung an den Zeichentrick Hund von Charlie Brown. Zwar ist dieser ein Beagle und hat nur 2 schwarze Ohren, aber trotzdem besteht eine gewisse Ähnlichkeit. Ich denke, dass auch Snoopy seiner Familie ein guter Begleiter sein wird.

In diesem Sommer ziehen wir die Welpen von unserer Ona (S-Wurf) und unserer Kalina (T-Wurf) auf.
Allen Welpen und ihren Müttern geht es prima und wir freuen uns schon auf die Zeit, wenn die Welpen durch unserer Wohnung oder den Garten flitzen.
Bis dahin ist es aber noch etwas Zeit und wir genießen das schöne Bild in der Wurfkiste.
Da der Vater der Welpen jeweils ein glatthaariger Elo® Rüde ist, können in dem Wurf Canilo Welpen in Rauhaar und Glatthaar sein.
Die Abgabe der Welpen erfolgt Ende Juli/Anfang August 2016.

Zur Feier des Tages und zur Erinnerung gibt es nochmal das Video vom Ostersonntag 2011. Da sind die kleinen "Fleckenzwerge" 6 Wochen alt und erkunden schon fast den gesamten Garten. Das Rudel hat gerade die neuen Spielsachen entdeckt, die der Osterhase gebracht hat.

Am 05. Dezember 2014 ist unser O-Wurf von unserer rauhaarigen Canilo Hündin Kalina und unserem rauhaarigen Elo® Rüden Benji zur Welt gekommen. Zum ersten Mal konnte ich meinen Rüden in meiner Zucht selbst einsetzen. Ich bin gespannt, wie es sein wird, Benjis Welpen aufzuziehen. Benji hat ein beeindruckendes Wesen und wurde seinerzeit von der Zuchtrichterin als "aufgrund des Wesens besonders für die Zucht empfohlen" bewertet.
Obwohl beide Elterntiere rauhaarig sind, können auch diesmal wieder glatthaarige Welpen dabei sein. Beide Elterntiere haben nämlich ein glatthaariges Elternteil. Es bleibt also wieder spannend bis zur 6ten Lebenswoche. Dann kann einigermaßen zuverlässig die Haarart bestimmt werden. Manchmal aber auch schon früher.
