Kami ist nach wie vor ein Traum der Familie. Er befolgt brav die Kommandos und läuft (zumindest bei Herrchen) lieb bei Fuß auch ohne Leine. Wenn er nicht abgelenkt ist, kommt er sofort bei Rückruf.
Allerdings hat er sich auf dem Weg nach Hause das Ziehen an der Leine angewöhnt. Frauchen bleibt dann immer stehen, er setzt sich dann und nach ein paarmal hat er es dann kapiert, allerdings nur bis zum nächsten Gassi gehen. Man muss immer dran bleiben, manchmal vergisst er auch was er gelernt hat, aber die Erinnerung kommt dann doch irgend wann. Alle sind gespannt wie seine Pubertät wird.
Seine Familie gibt sich viel Mühe in der Erziehung des Hundes. Sie könnten aber gerne auf die gut gemeinten Ratschläge mancher Hundebesitzer verzichten, denn wenn man genauer hinschaut, klappt es bei denen auch nicht immer. Frauchen ist dann im ignorieren ganz groß (allerdings kann das Kami auch ganz gut) meistens wenn Frauchen mit ihm angeben will, dann merkt er das und stellt sich auf stur. Aber zu Hause ist er einfach toll! Wenn Herrchen morgens zur Arbeit geht, jammert und heult er seinem Frauchen was vor, trollt sich aber gleich wieder, wenn er zu seinem Platz geschickt wird.
Seine Liebesbeweise äußern sich im ausgiebigen Lecken der Hände und Arme, bei Herrchen kriegt er sich gar nicht mehr ein, alles in Allem eine sehr feuchte Angelegenheit, was ihm übrigens den Spitznamen "Ed vom Schleck" eingebracht hat. Blödsinn hat er nach wie vor im Kopf, Rechnungen (von Otto und Finanzamt) werden da gerne mal verspeist und Klorollen sind seine absolute 1.Wahl. Frauchen kann noch so aufpassen, irgendwo findet er immer was.
Bei diesem schönen Wetter macht es doppelt Spaß mit dem eigenen Hund in die Natur zu gehen, was Kami ebenfalls sichtlich genießt. Alle freuen uns schon auf nächstes Jahr wenn sie mit ihm in Urlaub fahren.
