da uns die Erbgesundheit des Canilo und daraus folgend selbstverständlich auch derer Vorfahren und Verwandten - dem Elo® - sehr am Herzen liegt, haben wir in unserem Canilo-Forum einen Bereich eingerichtet, der den Canilo- und Elo®-besitzern einen Erfahrungsaustausch ermöglicht. Bitte informiert auch andere Canilo- und Elo®-besitzer, damit sie uns unterstützen und wir mehr Informationen über aufgetretene Erkrankungen oder Wesensentwicklungen für unser Zuchtprogramm erhalten.

Diejenigen, die nach Januar 2013 ihren Elo®/Canilo in unserer Canilo-Gruppe für die Canilo Zucht beurteilen ließen, kennen bereits unseren Statistikbogen.
Für uns ist es wichtig, eine Statistik über evtl. Erkrankungen zu führen.
Leider wurden uns Züchter in unserem früheren Verein mit der Begründung des Datenschutzes viele Informationen über aufgetretene Erkrankungen der Zuchtlinien nicht mitgeteilt. Uns scheint es jedoch sehr wichtig, dass nicht nur die Zuchtleitung, sondern auch der Züchter über eine Statistik der gesundheitlichen Aspekte und Wesensentwicklungen in alten und neuen Linien informiert wird, mit denen er eine Verpaarung durchführen möchte. Nur dann kann er seiner Verantwortung als Züchter für den jeweiligen Wurf gerecht werden. Hierfür ist es meiner Meinung nach nicht notwendig, den Namen der Besitzer zu wissen, sondern die Zuchtlinie der betroffenen Hunde.
Deshalb haben wir beschlossen, auf freiwilliger Basis unsere Elo®-Freunde und Züchter in unser Caniloforum einzuladen, damit sich die Betroffenen austauschen können, bzw. auch andere Familien informiert werden können über diverse Erkrankungen und Behandlungsmöglichkeiten.
Auf diese Weise könnten bei Auffälligkeiten auch schon gleich entsprechende Diagnosen und Behandlungen eingeleitet und zeit- und kostspielige Untersuchungen oder Tests ggf. vermieden werden.
