In der Nacht vom 11. auf den 12. April sind unsere A-chen zur Welt gekommen.
Montana hat uns mit 10 Welpen überrascht. Damit haben wir nicht gerechnet und waren erstmal in einem Zustand zwischen Staunen und Schock.
Das bedeutet nun noch mehr Fürsorge für Mutter und Welpen.
Ich bin froh, dass alle die erste Nacht gut überstanden haben und hoffe, es geht so weiter.

Sie sind so brav, nehmen gut zu und sind zufrieden.
Mama Nancy genießt noch immer ihr Mutterglück,

Die erste Nacht haben alle Z-chen bestens überstanden. Regelmäßig habe ich nachgeschaut, ob es Mutter und Kindern gut geht, alle zufrieden sind und sich keiner verlaufen hat. Nancy macht die Sache als Mutter großartig. Sie verlässt kaum die Wurfkiste. Sogar das Futter und Wasser reiche ich ihr in der Wurfkiste, weil sie ihre kleinen Lieblinge nicht verlassen möchte und selbst zu kurz kommen würde. Heute war es endlich soweit. Die Welpen von Nancy und Iggy wurden geboren.
Innerhalb 2 Stunden hat die großartige Nancy 7 Welpen zur Welt gebracht (2 Rüden und 5 Hündinnen).

Eigentlich hatte ich die Welpen von Nancy und Iggy schon am Ostersonntag erwartet, aber sie lassen sich Zeit.
Sicherheitshalber bin ich deshalb heute mit Nancy zum Tierarzt gefahren (vielen Dank an Dr. Sliwon, dass er trotz Feiertag für uns da ist). Er konnte uns erstmal beruhigen.
Scheinbar ist es in Mamas Bauch so schön, dass sie länger brauchen; oder wollen sie sich besonders schön machen, bevor sie auf die Welt kommen?
Wir warten weiter, auch wenn die Ungeduld und Spannung täglich wächst.
Drückt bitte alle die Daumen, dass uns bald eine problemlose Geburt erwartet, die Mutter und Welpen gesund überstehen.
