Die Geburt unseres E-Wurfs war ein Abenteuer, das ich so kein zweites mal brauche. Nancy hat nicht nur eine lange Trächtigkeitsdauer von 66 Tagen gehabt, sie ließ sich auch bei der Geburt viel Zeit. Als der erste Welpe trotz Presswehen lange auf sich warten ließ, habe ich Rücksprache mit meinem Tierarzt genommen und machte mich auf den Weg zur Praxis, als um 8:50 Uhr, kurz vor der Ankunft beim Tierarzt, die kleine Zaubermaus Emma nicht mehr warten wollte und mit einem Geburtsgewicht von 204 gr. noch im Auto zur Welt kam. Der Tierarzt übernahm dann das abnabeln und schickte mich schnellstens wieder nach Hause, damit die Geburt weiter gehen konnte. Aber jetzt ging es doch schneller als gedacht und die kleine Prinzessin Emira dachte sich, was Emma kann, das kann ich auch und kam um 9:10 Uhr mit einem Geburtsgewicht von 255 gr. auf der Rückfahrt im Auto zur Welt. Dann hieß es schnell an den Fahrbahnrand einen Zwischenstopp machen, Welpe versorgen und schnell weiter nach Hause. Dort angekommen dauerte es nicht lange, bis sich um 9:31 Uhr mit einem Geburtsgewicht von stolzen 300 gr. unser Stammhalter Emil zu seinen Schwestern gesellte.
Dann gab es eine laaaaange Pause, die mir schon wieder Sorgen bereitet hat, bis dann um 11:09 Uhr endlich die süße Ella mit einem Geburtsgewicht von 201 gr. zur Welt kam. Kurze Zeit später kam dann noch um 11:23 Uhr mit einem Geburtsgewicht von 248 gr. unsere hübsche Elsa und die Geburt war endlich geschafft. Glücklich aber doch erschöpft haben wir die Welpen bestaunt und waren dankbar, dass trotz der ungewöhnlichen Umstände alle Welpen munter und gesund auf die Welt gekommen sind.

Endlich ist unser E-Wurf von Nancy und Inu auf die Welt gekommen. Nancy hat es spannend gemacht, aber es ist alles gut gegangen. Nun freuen wir uns über Emil und seine 4 Schwestern und gönnen uns erstmal wieder etwas Ruhe.

Bei Nancy haben die letzten Tage vor der Geburt begonnen. Die Wurfkiste wurde besichtigt und für gut befunden. Alles ist vorbereitet und jetzt heißt es abwarten und Ruhe bewahren. In dieser Zeit vor der Geburt ist es besonders wichtig, der Hündin viel Sicherheit und Geborgenheit zu vermitteln. Ich merke auch, wie sehr sie meine Nähe sucht, damit ich ihr beistehen kann.
