Als Schlusslicht kam Xanadu mit einem Geburtsgewicht von 328 gr. auf die Welt.
Zunächst unbemerkt und leise lag sie auf einmal in der Wurfkiste. Selbst Mama Ona hatte es wohl nicht bemerkt, als dieses kleine Geschenk sich auf den Weg in diese Welt machte. Schnell packte ich Xanadu aus der Fruchthülle aus, damit sie die Luft atmen konnte. Alles war gut und sie machte sich fit und munter auf den Weg zur Getränkequelle. In dem Musical "Xanadu" gibt es das Lied "I'am Alive" in dem es heisst: "... Suddenly I was born (into light), How can it be real? I'm alive, I'm alive" Dieser Text passte so gut zu unserer Xanadu, dass sie den schönen Namen Xanadu bekam.

Unsere Welpen aus dem X-Wurf machen sich prächtig. Sie sind zufrieden und munter, nehmen gut zu und machen mir jetzt schon viel Freude. Nachdem wir uns gestern noch von den durchwachten Nächten ausgeruht haben und einfach nur die Ankunft unserer Schätze genossen haben, wurden heute Einzelfotos gemacht und auch Namen gefunden. Nun dürft Ihr endlich schauen:
Den Anfang der Geburt machte die Xandy um 7 Uhr mit einem Geburtsgewicht von 334 gr.
eine halbe Stunde später kam mit Xuani um 7:35 Uhr wieder eine Hündin mit einem Geburtsgewicht von 304 gr.
Dann mussten erstmal die Geschwister nachrutschen und um 8:24 Uhr kam eine weitere Schwester Xara mit einem Geburtsgewicht von 350 gr.
Jetzt brauchte Ona eine kleine Pause, in der sie eine Stärkung von Futter und Wasser gerne angenommen hat.
Nun ging es weiter und um 9:37 Uhr kam mit Xucker der erste Rüde mit einem Geburtsgewicht von 363 gr.
Keine halbe Stunde später kam um 9:59 Uhr mit Xheva ein weiteres Mädel mit einem Geburtsgewicht von 304 gr.
Nach einer kleinen Verschnaufpause kam um 10:24 Uhr unser 2ter Rüde Ximo mit einem Geburtsgewicht von 322 gr.
Das überraschende Schlusslicht machte dann die 5te Hündin Xanadu um 10:57 Uhr mit einem Geburtsgewicht von 328 gr.
