Gestern erhielt ich die traurige Nachricht, dass der Vater meines A-Wurfs (2005), Cooper von der Pension Vilstal, im Alter von über 16 Jahren über die Regenbogenbrücke gegangen ist. Er war bis zuletzt noch altersentsprechend fit und hat sein Frauchen auf die Spaziergänge begleitet. Gestern ging es ihm jedoch so schlecht, dass die Entscheidung getroffen werden musste, ihn von seinem Leid zu erlösen und ihn gehen zu lassen. Das ist eine der schwersten Entscheidungen, die man im Leben aus Liebe treffen kann und muss. Cooper hat seine Familie über so viele Jahre treu begleitet, seine "Jungs" aufwachsen und zu Männern werden sehen. Er war immer da, wenn ein Tröster gebraucht wurde, ein guter Zuhörer und Begleiter auf allen Wegen. Nun ist sein Platz im Hundekörbchen leer aber den Platz im Herzen wird er für immer behalten.
Auch ich werde ihn nie vergessen, denn seine "Hochzeit" mit meiner Zandy hat den Grundstein der Mühlenbusch-Zucht gelegt. Es war ein sehr beeindruckendes Erlebnis und ich bin sehr froh und stolz, dass gerade Cooper mir diesen Weg bereitet hat. Ich bin sicher, dass Zandy ihren Schatz an der Regenbogenbrücke schon erwartet hat und hoffe, dass die 2 nun die zweiten Flitterwochen auf Wolke 7 verbringen dürfen. Ihr großer Bub Ari wird jetzt auch um sie herum sein und die 3 können als kleine Familie im Regenbogenland eine schöne Zeit verbringen. Das wünsche ich allen so sehr. Alles Gute lieber Cooper Schatz! Wir werden dich so sehr vermissen!
