Vor fast genau 17,5 Jahren ist der erste Mühlenbusch Welpe zur Welt gekommen. Mein A-Wurf Kleinelos. Dieser Tag hat mein Leben verändert und seitdem sind viele Welpen in meinem Haus zur Welt gekommen, die ihre Familien glücklich machen. Trotzdem wird dieser A-Wurf immer etwas ganz besonderes für mich sein.
Das Erlebnis, die Trächtigkeit der Mutterhündin zu erleben, ihr vor und während der Geburt beizustehen und den ersten Schnaufer des neugeborenen Welpen miterleben zu dürfen, ist ein Geschenk für das ich sehr dankbar bin. Es berührt mich im Herzen und ist unvergleichlich schön. Dann zu sehen, wie sich aus diesem kleinen Wesen ein lustiger Welpe entwickelt, der die Welt entdeckt, ist so herzerwärmend schön.
Ich wünsche mir dann, dass diese Welpen ein langes, gesundes und glückliches Hundeleben führen dürfen.
Bei diesem Wurf war das der Fall. Nachdem Ari im Jahr 2019 während eines Urlaubs plötzlich und unerwartet kurz nach seiner Mama Zandy den Weg über die Regenbogenbrücke gegang ist und Aisha und Anna sich ein Jahr später auf den Weg machten, hat Lewis (Amadeus) nun mit 17,5 Jahren den Weg angetreten.
Der Abschied ist für die Familien und auch für mich sehr schwer. So viele Erinnerungen kommen in den Kopf und auch wenn sie schmerzhaft sind, ist es doch schön, solche Erinnerungen zu haben. Sie bleiben für immer im Herzen, gemeinsam mit der Freude und der Wärme, die in ihnen wohnt.
Ich wünsche Lewis eine gute Reise ins Regenbogenland und bin sicher, dass an der Brücke schon Mama Zandy und die Geschwister Ari, Anna und Aisha auf ihn warten, um ihm zu zeigen, wie schön es dort ist. Lass es dir gut gehen Lewis, bis wir uns irgendwann wiedersehen werden. Deiner Familie wünsche ich viel Kraft um den Schmerz des Abschiedes zu verkraften. 17,5 gemeinsame Jahre waren wunderschön und die Verbindung zu Lewis bleibt für immer bestehen, auch wenn er jetzt nicht mehr gestreichelt werden kann und kein Blick aus seinen Augen in unsere trifft.
Aber im Herzen wird er immer bei uns sein.
