Vor fast 3 Wochen hat sich Lassie beim Toben - Distel war nicht beteiligt - den rechten Oberschenkel gebrochen. Bei ihrer Lieblingsbeschäftigung, dem Buddeln im Sand und dem Toben dabei, ist sie so unglücklich aufgekommen, dass sie sich diese Fraktur zugezogen hat. Der Tierarzt wohnt direkt in der Nähe und nach dem Röntgen stand fest, dass sie einen Gips braucht.
Danach hat sich Frauchen den ganzen um den kleinen Unglücksraben gekümmert. Alle 2 Tage musste sie zur Gipskontrolle und es entwickelte sich alles super. Seit Freitag hat Lassie den Gips nicht mehr und sie tobt wieder wie eh und je. (Hat sie übrigens auch mit Gipsbein gemacht!).
Der Tierarzt meint, dass nichts zurückbleiben wird und was auch wichtig ist, dass sie kein seelisches Trauma erlitten hat. In der Tierarztpraxis waren sie von Lassie sehr begeistert, da sie noch nie einen Welpen hatten, der beim Gipswechseln nicht sediert werden musste. Lassie wurde vorne gestreichelt und mit Leckerlis versorgt, während sie am Hinterlauf einen neuen Gips bekam.
Lassie hat alles mit Bravour überstanden und darf nun nächste Woche wieder frisch und fit in die Eifel in Urlaub fahren.
